I
thought you might like to see my vision board.

I am a firm believer in what we think
is what we get in life. If you think you are disabled, then
you will be and that is exactly what I did, albeit subconsciously
for 30 years.
The doctors gave me no hope of a cure and suggested
I focus on learning to push a wheelchair and live with my
paraplegia. At the time, I accepted their advice. I turned my brain off to the possibility
of ever “getting better,” and walking again. As a result, I disconnected from my legs
and thought from the waist up for three decades.
Visualisation has become a very important
tool I use to reconnect with my legs.
In my professional
life over the years, I learned the best way to project
manage (be it, organising a TV series or the Olympic Games)
was to determine the outcome and plan backwards. My approach to manifesting my miracle is
much the same.
The outcome and my intention is
clear.
My plan is my schedule and the daily steps
I take as I pursue new therapy solutions, people and ideas
to help me walk to a fuller life.
I visualise my success and I am very confident
I’ll be climbing the Sydney Harbour
Bridge on my strong legs, very soon.
